Over the course of our series, Life’s Primary Element, we’ve talked about the need for community and specific habits that allow community to exist (hospitality, love, unity). This week we end the series with an exploration of our standard state. In the world of physics, the Standard State of a substance is its stable and pure form. What is the stable and pure form of followers of Christ in community? Paul, in 2 Corinthians 5, reminds us of what “the norm” is for us—who we are and how we’re called to live.

Small Groups/Studies Interest Survey Update

Thanks to everyone who filled out our survey. Through your responses, we've scheduled several new groups. Disciple I will be offered on Sunday evenings (see the "news" page for more information), and in September we'll launch a Monday Morning Bible Study. We'll also begin offering a new topical study soon, as well as launch a walking and running group. Stay tuned for times and places and even more groups.

In the meantime, please continue to let us know what small group offerings and studies you would like us to offer in the Fall and the coming year by taking a couple of minutes to fill out the brief, online survey found in our “Online Resources” page (listed on the left of this page). Check Out Our Revised Building Concept

The Building Committee has been working with Albert and Associates to revise the building concept. The current revision is on our campaign website, http://www.preparethewayonline.org under the "Gallery" tab. There you can compare the latest revision with the previous one. The architects are now moving into the design and develop stage as the Building Committee prepares detailed cost estimates to present to a called Church Conference.
