Parkway Heights offers members many ways to care for one another. Below you'll find several opportunities for people to get involved and for people to experience the ministry of others.

Divorce and Grief Recovery

During the Fall, Spring, and Summer, Parkway Heights offers a 9-week course to help people recover and rebuild after the loss of a loved one due to a break-up, separation, divorce, or death. Each week, local pastors, counselors, and others share information and inspiration about the rebuilding process. Then participants meet in small groups to discuss the evening's topic. If you would like to be placed on the mailing list for the start of the next course, please contact the church office. The class is based on the book, "Rebuilding When Your Relationship Ends.

Prayer Ministry

We believe that the joined prayers of Christians are powerful for strength, healing, and intercession. Parkway Heights has several prayer chains that exist to minister to members and the community. If you would like to send a prayer request or praise to the staff or to the prayer ministry, you can submit it online or contact the church office.

Homebound Member Visitation

Volunteers for this ministry visit and minister to members of Parkway Heights who can no longer regularly attend worship. To volunteer for this ministry or if you know of someone in need of this ministry, please contact the church office.

Home Repair

This ministry has grown out of request through the years for assistance with minor repairs to homes or for yard clean-up. The men's ministry of our church oversees this ministry.

Tape Ministry

Tapes of each week's sermon are available for homebound members or for anyone who would like a copy of a particular Sunday sermon. There is no charge for the tapes. A tape can be ordered by contacting the church office.

Overeaters Anonymous

This 12-step group meets each week at Parkway Heights on Mondays at 5:30 p.m. in Room 229. It is open to anyone in our community who would like to be a part of this group.
