One of Parkway Height's primary focuses is to reach young adults. We offer several Sunday School Classes, fellowship groups, small groups, and even a worship experience primarily for young adults.
In Touch
In Touch is PHUMC's college service which meets at the Cuellefer house directly behind PHUMC on 2405 Offarel Street at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday Evenings (free food). Worship service starts at 8:00pm with student-led music followed by a short message. Contact David Sellers for more information.
The Summit Small Group, a gathering of young adults and other seekers, meets Tuesday evenings at 6:30p.m. Contact David Sellers for more information.
Sunday School Classes and Small Groups
Jesus, etc. meets in Room 225 on Sunday morning at 10 a.m. This group of graduate students, young singles, and young couples meets to study scripture and get to know one another.
The Fellowship Class, meets in Room 228 on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. This class is comprised of singles and young couples in their later twenties and early thirties.
The Lifesearch Class is a group of young couples in their thirties that uses the ""FaithLink," a resource connecting current events and our faith, as their guide for study together.
Moms Group is comprised of young women in their 20's and early 30's. They meet for fellowship and study once a month.
Sisters Group is comprised of women in their 30's and 40's. They meet for dinner and fellowship once a month. They occasionally do a study of a book or devotional and often get together for other activities like scrapbooking.
Other Opportunities
Parents Night Out is a free babysitting service for members and worship guests offered on the first Friday of every month. Children are cared for at the church from 6 until 10 p.m. Registration through the church office by the preceding Wednesday is required.
