Parkway Heights offers multiple activities for men and women who are single or single again. Below is a sampling of options offered throughout the year.
Y.A.C.H.T Club
Y.A.C.H.T (Young Active Christians Hanging Together) Club is offered for younger singles (and a few just-married couples) who are just finishing college or graduate school, or have just begun their career. This group meets monthly for dinner or an activity (bowling, movie, etc.). Information about Y.A.C.H.T Club can be found on the church calendar.
United Singles
United Singles meets on Thursday nights at 7:00 p.m. in the Fireside Room for fellowship and activities. The group is comprised of singles in mid-life and older. Different weeks may find this group having a pot-luck, gathering to hear a speaker on financial management, or going out to a movie. The group also plans weekend outings and events. Watch the calendar for upcoming events or contact the church office if you would like to receive their monthly newsletter.
The Ballroom Dancing Group
The Ballroom Dancing Group also meets on Thursdays. Dance lessons are offered in the Fellowship Hall for beginning and advanced students. Lessons for beginners are held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Lessons for advanced students begin at 7:00 p.m.
Divorce Recovery
"Rebuilding When Your Relationship Ends" is Parkway Heights' Divorce Recovery Ministry. This 9-week program is offered three times a year (Fall, Spring and Summer) and is led by people who have been through the program. Each week features speakers who discuss important topics for those going through divorce and small group discussions. The program uses Bruce Fisher's book, "Rebuilding When Your Relationship Ends." Childcare is offered. Watch the church calendar or contact the church for a schedule listing program dates and times.
