"Love All - Worship One"
A fresh perspective holds the promise of new insights and endless possibilities. Consider a valley viewed from ground level or from a mountain summit. How differently it appears. The Summit, a weekly worship experience, likens its mission to a mountain view - providing people with a place to get a fresh perspective on life, including answers to questions of faith.
The Summit, a gathering of young adults and other seekers, meets Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. for food, fellowship and worship. The Summit meets at ParkPlace, a former restaurant and bar located at 1311 Hardy Street. This unconventional, intimate setting provides us a very relaxed and informal place to gather and worship.
Worship at The Summit is an experience that features lots of great music from the Summit Band, a life-focused message and multiple ways of engaging people - from drama and video, to interviews or discussions. The goal of The Summit is to engage people at any stage in life with an offer of hope and truth.
The Summit experience also includes several small groups:
The Xtreme Group meets for outdoor and adventure activities like paintball, rafting, canoeing and camping.
The "Summit's Over So Let's Eat" Group gathers every week after The Summit to eat together at a local restaurant.
