Welcome, Kaitlin!
We are excited to announce the hiring of our new director of Youth and Family Ministries - Kaitlin Babington!
Kaitlin’s passion is to help middle school and high school students fall in love with Jesus. She has seen firsthand the life-changing nature of giving one’s life to Jesus during the middle school and high school years. Kaitlin works hard to help students experience the love of God and develop a greater understanding and love of Scripture.
Kaitlin is originally from Slidell, LA, but Hattiesburg is a second home for her. She comes back to Hattiesburg after being in Houston, TX, for a couple years. She has been active in the church since she was a child. It was in her college years that Kaitlin began working in student and college ministry. She
received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi (SMTTT) in speech-
language pathology, where she was an active member of the USM Wesley Foundation. She then went on to earn a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary. Kaitlin comes with 10+ years of working/volunteering in student ministry with five years in full-time vocational ministry with students.
Kaitlin has a beautiful tabby cat named Sweetie at home that brings so much joy to her life. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and friends, attending concerts, reading a good book, listening to a podcast or relaxing in her hammock when the weather is nice. You will also find Kaitlin spending a great deal of time at T-Bones.
Kaitlin officially begins her new role Monday,
December 1. Please be in prayer for her and our Youth Ministry during this transition and help us give Kaitlin a big Parkway Heights welcome!
Parkway Heights Pillars
"The Pillars of Parkway Heights" explores what makes our church tick. These foundational principles - for all generations - articulate our culture and framework for living in the present and moving into the future.
Our A15 Committee crafted these, Church Council affirmed them, and now we pray that the entire congregation will seek to grow more faithful with them as our guideposts for ministry and identity.

Band Together
Connection is extremely important. Jesus changed the world by forming deep relationships with a few people who would then carry on His work beyond His earthly life. He even said that the very credibility of His life and message in the eyes of unbelievers would be dependent upon the way His followers relate to each other (see John 17).
